About My Travel Sketches

Artistic Process

My travel sketches express spontaneous emotions sparked by my journeys in Italy and the Mediterranean. As a Mediterranean-inspired artist, I use them to explore moods and colours before committing to a full collection of Mediterranean paintings, turning them into an archive of ideas and observations.

The idea of turning them into travel journals was born when I realised how naturally this spontaneous process translates into notebooks that encourage free, creative writing. Since I hadn’t yet found a travel journal that combines creative freedom with thoughtfully structured space and an elegant feel, I saw the opportunity to create my own.
